CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES: Active members receive discounts on registration fees for Section sponsored continuing education programming and APTA CSM

LEGISLATIVE REPRESENTATION: Our Section promotes legislative representation through financial support to PT-PAC. Along with APTA, the Section collaborated with the U.S. Department of Labor to develop industrial guidelines to prevent the occurrence of CTDs

COMMITTEE PARTICIPATION: Our Section offers members the opportunity to participate in a variety of committee activities including legislation, research, nominating, bylaws, and professional relations.

NETWORKING: Our Section facilitates networking among its members through biannual business meetings, publications, website, online List Server, and continuing education courses.

PROMOTE RESEARCH: Our Section is committed to funding clinical research that examines hand and upper extremity practice issues.
